Born in Barnaul, Russia, into a family of musicians, he grew up in a world where sound was less a discipline than a constant presence. Music filled the house in many forms: the work of Astor Piazzolla, opera, and the daily routines of practice and performance. Early on, he found himself not only listening but observing, spending time behind the scenes in opera houses and gaining insight into how productions come together. Regular visits to concerts shaped his understanding of music as something lived and shared.
He began playing piano at the age of six and took part in youth competitions, where his early training focused on structure and precision. At the same time, he developed an interest beyond interpretation. In his teenage years, he turned to DJing, exploring rhythm, texture, and new ways of engaging with sound. This eventually led him to study music production.
After completing his studies, he moved to Hamburg, where he began to develop his own artistic language. There, he combined piano with electronic elements, focusing on experimentation and gradual development. His work became less about fitting into a form and more about extending it. Over time, his sound moved across styles, without settling into a single category, while reflecting influences such as Radiohead, Jóhann Jóhannsson, Erik Satie, Sergei Rachmaninoff, and Rival Consoles.
His first EP, Allotrope (2021), introduced this approach in an early form. It was followed by the album UNNA in 2023, which led to his debut concert at the Reethaus Berlin, an intimate setting that reflected his approach to performance. The release reached a wide audience and gathered millions of streams.
With his latest album, Still Human, he continues to expand his work. The record focuses on themes of identity and connection, bringing together different vocalists and a wider range of musical elements, while maintaining a consistent and personal direction.
